When Errol was asked to travel from Denver to Glenwood Springs, he began a twenty-five year journey of revisiting the canyon walls and the people who lived there for the past three hundred years.
In the early 80’s Glenwood Canyon was being transformed from historical sculptured walls defined by the Colorado River to Sculptural Bridges of I-70, mirroring the winding river. Once a month, Errol was stopped for hours in traffic as the rock was blasted by dynamite. Passing the time allowed close reflection of the charging canyon walls as the natural forces of wind, water and motion defined new Landscapes in Bronze.
